If you follow a DIY approach to detoxification, slowly start removing items from your diet including all processed foods, sugar, meat, dairy, soy, alcohol, gluten and caffeine from your diet for up to four weeks. It is always best to focus on leafy greens and other fresh fruits and vegetables. The more simple you go, the more gentle and achievable the cleansing will be.
