Do you have problems with tendinitis? Do you suffer from fractures and dislocations, lower back pain or a frozen shoulder? Have you been diagnosed with arthritis or do you have rheumatisms? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, the Mezieres-Bertele Method is for you. It is a unique 4 hands massage that comes with great benefits.

What is the Mezieres-Bertele Method?

The Mezieres-Bertele Method is a physiological 4 hands massage that produces amazing results. The method teaches that the human body has 5 key muscle strains. The key strain is the back to the backside of the two legs, followed by the two arms, neck and chin. The last strain is the muscle under the chest.

These 5 muscle chains are not independent. In fact, they all affect each other. When you have pain in one of the strains and seek treatment, a traditional physiotherapist will work on the symptoms, however, if you work on only one the others will compensate. It is important to work on all muscle strains so that they can eventually balance out.

The Mezieres-Bertele Method utilizes a 4 hand massage technique to work on all of the body, and especially focus on the back which, according to this method, is the most important. Essentially, the method is a physiotherapy technique that endeavors to rebalance different muscle and joint chains through stretching exercises and body awareness. The result is improved posture and alleviation of pain.

A treatment during the Mezieres-Bertele Method is performed by two therapists who specialize in treating all the back, joint and muscle pain. 3 to 5 times of continuous treatment will show great results.

Who Benefits from the Mezieres-Bertele Method?

The Mezieres-Bertele Method is beneficial for everyone. If you are looking to improve your posture, motorial capacity, physical state or just to generally feel better, the Mezieres-Bertele Method can be of great benefit.

Does your body often feel uncomfortable or do you experience physical discomfort? Perhaps you have a troublesome back, an annoying hip, hernia disc problems or fractures and dislocations? If you suffer from any of these ailments, the stretching technique utilized in the Mezieres-Bertele Method could ease your discomfort and possibly eradicate it for good.

The techniques used in the method are also efficient for neurological diseases such as hemiplegia or spastic tetraplegia. The Mezieres-Bertele Method balances and relaxes the back ensuring a more flexible body and better posture while eliminating stress and pain.

During any treatment using the Mezieres-Bertele Method, attention is focused on postural massage techniques, neuromuscular, fascial and other maneuvers to promote the overall relaxation of the muscular system, contractures or painful points. Lastly, it is interesting to note that the Mezieres-Bertele Method is the technique used to heal ailments of the Italian football team.
